Attraction can open a door, but it cannot build a relationship by itself. Starting polyamory requires emotional maturity, patience, and the ability to hear things that may challenge you.
Before adding more love into your life, ask yourself:
- Can I communicate when I feel insecure?
- Can I listen without immediately defending myself?
- Do I know what my boundaries are?
- Am I choosing this from love, curiosity, and consent?
- Is everyone involved emotionally safe enough to be honest?
Those questions matter because polyamory does not hide the cracks. It reveals them.
